The top paper and top poster in select conference tracks will be awarded the Best Paper and Best Poster Award. Lead authors of the selected contributions will be presented with a plaque and awarded a gift during a public recognition at the closing session of the conference. Awarded to the authors of the contributed manuscript that has been judged, based on quality, originality, and clarity, for research of exceptional value in the field of humanitarian engineering and international development.
Best Paper for Outstanding Impact
Awarded to the authors of the contributed manuscript that has been
judged, based on quality, originality, and clarity, to have generated, or to have the potential to generate, significant impact on society, at either the
global or local level.
Best Poster or Technical Demonstration
Awarded to the authors of the contributed poster or technology demonstration that has been judged, based on quality, originality, and clarity, to demonstrate significant achievement and the most promising extension to further technological development and impact.
