The Director of the National Center for Photovoltaics at the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) will present a talk in the tech track on photovoltaics research accomplishments over the last 30+ years and future directions and ongoing research activities. He will also discuss potential impact in terms of reduced carbon emissions.
The National Center for Photovoltaics (NCPV) at NREL focuses on technology innovations that drive industry growth in U.S. photovoltaic (PV) manufacturing. The NCPV is a central resource for US capabilities in PV research, development, deployment, and outreach.
The National Center for Photovoltaics (NCPV) at NREL was created in 1996 by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). The NCPV is part of the DOE Solar Energy Technologies Program.
A preliminary program agenda has been posted to allow participants to finalize travel plans.

The response to the Ebola crisis will be highlighted at HumTech2015 through several talks.

We received a very large number of excellent submissions, and look forward to including many of these in the HumTech2015 technical program.
We intend to review these submissions and notify all authors no later than 2 March 2015. if your full paper has been accepted for inclusion in the conference proceedings, we ask that you submit the Camera-Ready-Copy of the paper, following the formatting guidelines, within 2 weeks of notification. All Camera-Ready-Copy submissions must be made by 15 March 2015.
